Londell meets with Geoffrey and Catherine Wilder at District 27, West Side Station, following their arrest and incarceration. As their lawyer, he is dismayed. This isn't going to be as easy as they first thought. Geoffrey believes it should be open and shut case, that they didn't do it. Londell notes that it's not quite that simple. The gun the police found in their car, ballistics matched it to a shooting where a liquor store owner was killed. A possible drug deal gone bad. Catherine questions if the name Darius Davis mean anything. The liquor store was in his territory, and questions how she knew that. Geoffrey's sure they're being railroaded but is convinced they've got nothing. It's all circumstantial, and they've got alibis. Catherine's quite; thinking. Unfortunately, they have a gun, found in their car after a high-speed chase through downtown L. A. There's also Geoffrey's former association with Darius's crew. Catherine tells them not to worry, she'll handle it. Police, however, come and take them away in handcuffs. Catherine tells Londell to start working on bail.
Later that day at District 27, Londell's questioned by Geoffrey, out on bail, about Catherine. He tells him that she's not getting out. She's confessed. Geoffrey, mistaken, thinks it's about the liquor store shooting, which is ridiculous, but is corrected. Londell tells him that she confessed to the killing of Darius Davis. Geoffrey demands to see his wife and Londell arranges the meeting.
